Community

The VFW is dedicated to serving our community and the veterans who have served and are still serving today. It’s the dedication of our military troops which helps to motivate the members of the VFW to donate hundreds of community service hours.  It’s the Thanks of the community that keeps the members of the VFW united and wanting to do more. That said here is a list of what goes on at Post 4847.

Volunteers and Volunteering

We have a very active post. We have dinners, Bar Bingo, Meat Raffles and more. These activities bring in a great majority of support and income to our Post Home. We have many wonderful volunteers who make time to help with post activities, but our very faithful volunteers are getting older and not able to do everything as they have in the past.

Therefore; we are requesting that some of the younger members step up to the plate and volunteer to help out with these activities. All you have to do is contact the Bar Manager or Commander and let them know that you are willing to volunteer some time, and they will notify the corresponding Chairman.

A special thanks to the St.Cloud Elks for volunteering during Saturday night bingo.
